Disney World is only a 10-15 drive away, Seaworld and Universal are less than 30 minutes away. The Gulf and Atlantic coasts are just an hour's drive and well worth a visit as beaches are glorious and not usually busy. The well known 192 with its many restaurants and stores is only a few minutes away. The nearest Supermarket is Publix at either Champions Gate , where there is a also a McDonalds and Video rental store and a recently opened Chilis Restaurant, or Publix at Berry Town, 2 miles north on Highway 27 where there is also a Chinese Takeaway and Pizza Restaurant and a new Applebees Restaurant You can also find the Super Walmart now open at the junction of the 27 and 192 (about 5 minutes away) - at Cagans Crossing - a must for all Florida first timers, where you can buy virtually anything all under one roof. For the golfers there is Champions Gate Golf Resort only 5 minutes away with Greg Norman championship courses and there are other courses within close proximity.
